The pond was almost empty, and that was nowhere near the worst thing. Walked over to the trail, and took the path to the left. When I got past the poison ivy to the stream, it looked nice (see 3rd picture) but the water was foul smelling. I went back up, avoiding extensive poison ivy, and took the path to the right. The walkway was heaved and collapsed, and very heavily overgrown. The second picture shows a nice view, but if you look carefully, you will see that most of the foliage is ... poison ivy. There is a great grind stone (3rd picture), but guess what is growing all over it?
Nice park for a long or short walk. Lots of trails. Bring a gps equipped phone.
Tons of dogs here. There is also a great splash park and playground, and a few picnic benches scattered around the park. The park is kept very clean, and usually there is a brook flowing through it, though it tends to dry up towards the end of the summer. Lovely place to sit and read or just people/dog watch.
I am NOT going back.
Great area for biking and picnicking. The splash pad is amazing and huge, right next to it is a medium sized wooden playground and sandbox. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables under a roof.
Kids love rocks kids love water kids love swings and playgrounds. Put it all together and what you got? This place baby
